Homeless neighbors counted in January 2010 included individuals who were employed, veterans, women fleeing from domestic violence, and 362 children.
- 39% of individuals counted were members of families, including 362 children.
- 19% of the adults experiencing homelessness were employed while they were homeless.
- 15% of the adults experiencing homelessness were in school.
- 250 of the adults counted were veterans.
- 298 of the adults counted were women fleeing from domestic violence.
- 47% of the individuals counted suffered from mental illness, addiction or both.
- 19% of the adults counted had been released within the last year from a state institution such as a prison, hospital or other facility following a stay of at least one week.
- 12% of the adults counted reported being part of the foster care system at some point in their life.
